Membership Information
 If you are interested in the history of photography, a collector of antique and collectable camera, images and equipment, a novice or a knowledgeable collector, come join the Chicago Photographic Collectors Society. You will exchange knowledge of basic fundamentals or advanced information of collecting, pricing and specialty areas with very knowledgeable people. Our members have a variety of expertise in fields such as stereoscopic, motion pictures, early photographic processes or manufacturers such as Canon, Nikon or Leica.
Our monthly meetings are most informative and our “Show and Tell” sessions are most educational. Lively discussions regarding all types of photographic collecting are always on the agenda. An occasional field trip adds more to the mix.
As a CPCS member, you are entitled to the following benefits:
- Free admission to all CPCS Camera & Image Shows. With a patron membership, you also get an early admission to all Shows.
- A discount on the purchase of dealer/exhibit tables at all CPCS Shows
- Priority to reservation forms for choice dealer tables at all CPCS Shows.
- Special discounts on collector publications such as McKeowns Price Guide of Antique & Classic Cameras.
- Subscription to monthly newsletter.
- Non-profit status for a tax deduction
- A membership directory putting you in touch with collectors with similar interests.
- An invitation to special CPCS field trips and events.

Our monthly meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month (except December, January February and July) at:

There is always an interesting program - a presentation on the history of a particular camera or an early photographic process, a guest speaker from the professional photographic world or photographica historian. Become A Member
The dues are $30 a year for individuals, $40 for member and spouse. Three-year Patron memberships are $75, $95 with spouse. A five-year sustaining membership (spouse included) is $125. Foreign memberships are $35 yearly. A special entry level membership for bonafide college/university students is available at $15 per year. All dues payable in US funds.
